Volkswagen Car-Net® is a suite of connected car features that’s available on select trims of some of the most popular new Volkswagen models including the Passat, Jetta, and Tiguan. After a six-month free trial, Car-Net costs $17. Two-year ($378) and three-year ($540) contracts represent a cost savings and are options to consider in the long run. Volkswagen Car-Net App-Connect is the only category of features which is free without the Car-Net Subscription.After those five years are over, you can continue service for $20 a month, just like the first Car-Net® iteration. Some 2020 Volkswagen vehicles, like the new Tiguan, have an integrated 4G-LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
