Why is it called Kombi?
Kombi, from German: Kombinationskraftwagen (combination motor vehicle), with side windows and removable rear seats, both a passenger and a cargo vehicle combined. Actually, the original German name was Kombinationskraftwagen, meaning “combination vehicle” (a passenger and cargo vehicle combined), as the rear and middle seats could be added or removed.
