What does the VW We Connect do?
The Volkswagen app allows you to interact with and monitor your ID vehicle from your mobile device. Features include remote locking and unlocking, remote climate control setting and the ability to check your ID’s battery status remotely. Download the free myVW app for your smartphone. Depending on your operating system, you will find its available for Android or iOS in the Google Play Store or App Store. Log in to the myVW app with your Volkswagen ID.Whether you’re right next to your vehicle or miles away, the myVW mobile app enables access to control and monitor the most important features of your model-year 2020 or newer VW. If your vehicle is a 2019 model or older, the myVW app isn’t available yet.
Is VW We Connect free?
We Connect opens up Volkswagen’s digital services to you and makes you Volkswagen connected. Following a one-off activation, you can use We Connect’s features free of charge. All you have to do is sign up to We Connect online via Volkswagen. Activate VW Connect or We Connect Conclude the VW Connect or We Connect contract as shown in the app, then navigate to “Connect to VW Connect / We Connect” in your infotainment system. Here, follow the instructions in the app.Following a one-off activation, you can use We Connect’s features free of charge.For new vehicles, the VW Connect and We Connect and VW Connect Plus and We Connect Plus service bundles are available free of charge for an initial period.We Connect opens up Volkswagen’s digital services to you and makes you Volkswagen connected.
