What are the benefits of a VW R-Line?
The Golf R-Line adds 17-inch “Coventry” black diamond-turned alloy wheels, body-coloured bumpers, premium sports seats (Sardegna cloth with Art Velour bolsters), brushed stainless pedals, decorative inlays, sport suspension and dynamic steering. It includes several modifications to the exterior, such as 20-inch wheels with all-season tires that fill the arched wheel openings. The R-Line package also adds a stylized grille, including brake cooling vents and a diamond pattern, intakes, side sills, bumpers, and trim. Of course, R-Line badging is standard.
What is special about the R-Line?
R-Line models are typically built on the same chassis as the base model in their respective vehicle range, but include upgraded front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, a badge, larger wheels, and other enhancements. The base model includes 17-inch wheels, while the R-Line is equipped with 19-inch wheels, but there are six exterior colors to choose from. Additionally, the new Passat R-Line comes with some unique exterior styling that the base model doesn’t include.
