For new vehicles, VW Connect is available to you free of charge for an initial period of 10 years. VW Connect Plus can be extended following expiry of the free initial contract period of two years (from initial delivery) via the In-Car Shop of your infotainment system or via the Volkswagen Connect Shop . Monitor the vehicle status: Use the app to easily check your vehicle’s mileage, fuel level, or battery level. Control the vehicle: The app also allows you to intuitively control your vehicle remotely.Volkswagen’s We Connect Plus has additional features to We Connect. Safety – We Connect Plus comes with enhanced safety features including alerts in the event of attempted theft. Area Alert lets you monitor your vehicle when you’re away from it.
Is VW Connect available on all VW models?

VW Connect is the direct link to your ID. Usage of these free services requires you to sign up online to a separate VW Connect contract with Volkswagen AG. Activate VW Connect or We Connect Conclude the VW Connect or We Connect contract as shown in the app, then navigate to “Connect to VW Connect / We Connect” in your infotainment system.
