To really determine how far a good drive is, you have to break this down into swing speed groups: low average and high swing speed golfers.FOR MID SWING SPEED PLAYERS (150-175 YARDS WITH A 6 IRON) If your swing speed with a 6 iron is less than 83 mph, you can expect between 150 – 175 yards from your 6 iron. Shot trajectory is extremely important – you should get enough launch and spin to stop the ball on the green without sacrificing distances.Here’s how it works.
