It logs everything with impressive accuracy (but keep your phone out of ‘battery saver’ mode if it has it, for a more consistent connection). How to get VW We Connect Plus for free?
When buying a new vehicle, there is the option to use digital services from VW Connect, VW Connect Plus, We Connect or We Connect Plus for an initial free contract period. The prerequisite for this is setting up a valid Volkswagen ID user account and logging in with a user name and password. Activate VW Connect or We Connect Conclude the VW Connect or We Connect contract as shown in the app, then navigate to “Connect to VW Connect / We Connect” in your infotainment system. Here, follow the instructions in the app.
