How to get VW We Connect Plus for free?
When buying a new vehicle, there is the option to use digital services from VW Connect, VW Connect Plus, We Connect or We Connect Plus for an initial free contract period. The prerequisite for this is setting up a valid Volkswagen ID user account and logging in with a user name and password. The Volkswagen app allows you to interact with and monitor your ID vehicle from your mobile device. Features include remote locking and unlocking, remote climate control setting and the ability to check your ID’s battery status remotely.Your Volkswagen ID is your key to the digital world of Volkswagen. With your Volkswagen ID, you can easily log in to various services, apps and websites. You can also securely administrate your personal data, such as your name, address and telephone numbers, in your Volkswagen ID.For most newer VW vehicles, the Remote Access feature is available to you for free for 5 years. With Remote Access, you can control select features in your car whether you’re right next to it or you’re miles away.
Does VW Connect cost money?
VW Connect – Your introduction to online services Your gateway to Volkswagen’s digital services and the direct connection to your vehicle: with VW Connect, your Volkswagen is ready for connectivity. Following one-off activation, you can use lots of helpful and innovative online services free of charge. Activate VW Connect or We Connect Conclude the VW Connect or We Connect contract as shown in the app, then navigate to “Connect to VW Connect / We Connect” in your infotainment system.
