When buying a new vehicle, there is the option to use digital services from VW Connect, VW Connect Plus, We Connect or We Connect Plus for an initial free contract period. The prerequisite for this is setting up a valid Volkswagen ID user account and logging in with a user name and password. Depending on the vehicle, the VW Connect Plus or We Connect Plus service packages can be obtained annually, every two years or as a subscription that can be cancelled on a monthly basis – straight from the In-Car Shop in the vehicle infotainment system or the.Try out mobile online services free of charge in your used vehicle now. Is VW We Connect free?
For new vehicles, VW Connect is available to you free of charge for an initial period of 10 years. VW Connect Plus can be extended following expiry of the free initial contract period of two years (from initial delivery) via the In-Car Shop of your infotainment system or via the Volkswagen Connect Shop . For most newer VW vehicles, the Remote Access feature is available to you for free for 5 years.
