Outside of a leaking water pump or some being in need of walnut blasting (removing carbon buildup from intake manifold and valves, because of direct injection) there aren’t common big issues that come to my mind. TSI engines are best if you want a smooth and quiet Caddy or travel short distances due to having no DPF filter to clog up.
