How reliable are VW T-Roc cars?
The T-Roc finished sixth out of 22 cars in the small SUV class in What Car’s most recent reliability survey. It achieved this placing with a terrific overall score of 98. Not only is the T-Roc comfortable and practical among small SUVs, but it’s also available with Volkswagen’s 4Motion four-wheel drive system, which does a good job of keeping your wheels turning in slippery conditions.
What is cheaper, T-Cross or T-Roc?
In standard spec there is just over $10k price difference between the two with the T-Roc starting at a RRP of $40,490 (as tested with no optional extras) and the T-Cross at RRP $30,990. We think the T-Cross is a great buy in its cheaper forms, but if you’re looking higher up the price range, you’ll probably be better off with a VW T-Roc. What is the difference between a T-Roc and a T-Cross? The VW T-Roc is bigger, better to drive and only a bit more expensive than the T-Cross.Being the larger of the two, the T-Roc is the better option if you need more bootspace, stronger engines and increased cabin room. But if size doesn’t matter to you, the smaller Polo-based T-Cross is the one for you.
Is T-Roc worth buying?
The T-Roc isn’t especially exciting on the outside, but it’s got a sort of classy, solid look to it, and the 2022 update brought along some small styling tweaks that accentuated that effect. Inside, the cabin is a bit dark and sober, but it’s all well made, easy to use, and very comfortable. The T-Roc really feels like it’s in a lovely sweet spot for a family buyer looking for a decent amount of space, kit and quality and for a good price. The fact that it drives well is a bonus. There are plenty of crossovers to choose from now, lots of them with better individual qualities than this.
Which is better, Tiguan or T-Roc?
The T-Roc is slightly easier to park than the Tiguan, and slightly cheaper – although neither of these cars are among the most affordable SUVs. It still features much of the same technology and equipment, and still has plenty of space for most buyers’ needs. The Tiguan is larger with a bigger boot, so might be suited better to families or those that need a bit of extra space. The T-Roc is more compact but still spacious, and you might be swung by the sportier feel.
