Is the Lupo GTI a rare car?
While close to 500,000 Lupos were built globally, Lupo GTI figures were approximately 6,370, making them the rarest variant by a long margin. Average values are hard to pin down, as few GTIs are for sale. That was less than most standard Lupos, yet the GTI was far from Spartan inside or out – though you did have to pay extra on top of the original list price of £12,995 for air conditioning or a sunroof.
Is the Volkswagen Lupo a good car?
VW LUPO is a great little car. Not so good with four passengers though, but in our case that is rare. Well, objectively speaking the Lupo is a fantastic little car. It’s surprisingly spacious for something so small and feels great to drive. Sure, it’s making weird noises all over the car but, it is 16 years old.
