Why is F1 not allowed on the Nürburgring?
If you’re talking about the Nordschleife, it’s just not safe enough for F1 racing. To make it safe would cost too much money and would probably completely ruin it. Also, the racing action would not be very good, as the track is very narrow. Anyone who desires to experience the Nürburgring Nordschleife race track can do so, either as a driver (from 18 years old) or as a passenger in a racing taxi (starting from 299 euros). Typically, all private racing enthusiasts come to drive on the track during tourist and track days.The Nordschleife is not a Grade 1 track and F1 can only race in those. To get it to Grade 1 you’d need massive amounts of money and to completely change the track. Hence, F1 is never going back there. If you mean the new GP track, it’s lack of money to pay the millions CVC wants as race fee.Why doesn’t F1 race at the Nürburgring?
